ExpoSolidos' Organizing Committee for this edition has decided to provide extra services for the exhibitors, due to the economic crisis that is affecting the industrial sector. The following services will be free of charge:
- Rooms will be available for exhibitors who wish to hold meetings, conferences, workshops, etc.
- The use of forklifts during assembly and disassembly.
- Storage of packaging.
- 1 parking space/exhibitor during the event
- 2 free passes to attend the Technical Conferences/Exhibitor
- Discounts up to 50% at several hotels
July 2009
The Organizing Committee of 2009 has decided to lower the registration fees for the Technical Conferences. Rates, depending on the number of days are:
- 1 day: 60 Euros
- 2 days: 90 Euros
- 3 days : The 3 rd day is free of charge if you have attended the first 2.
It was also decided that students and people that are unemployed people can attend the Technical Conferences for free.

We start a questionnaire to decide the issues to be discussed at EXPOSOLIDOS 2009 technical conferences
The organization of EXPOSOLIDOS, with the support of the Organizing Committee, has launched a survey on the website in order to get to know the topics of interest to the industry professionals. The goal is to collect the votes of all participants and present an interesting program with the issues that have received the most votes. 90% of the exhibiting companies in 2006 book space for the next edition
Since it opened the deadline for booking space in the next edition of EXPOSOLIDOS, the organization confirmed that 90% of the companies exhibiting in 2006 have already confirmed their presence for 2009. It means that 80% of the space is booked with leading companies. Very good news in the current international crisis. Most of the exhibitors that repeat trust EXPOSOLIDOS as being the sector's only fair in Spai, very especialized, and with more than 50% of successful visitors in terms of profitable contacts. According to the Organizing Committee, EXPOSOLIDOS is a fair that is very professional and a reference in Southern Europe.

EXPOSOLIDOS and POWTECH sign an agreement
EXPOSOLIDOS, preferenced solids' processing technology exhibition of South Europe, has signed an agreement with POWTECH, the International Trade Fair for Mechanical Processing Technologies and Instrumentation, that will take place from 30th September to 2nd October, 2008 in Germany. The aim of this agreement is to give mutual support between both trade fairs and to promote them directly among companies and professionals.

Laurence Franks, renew as president of EXPOSOLIDOS 2009 Organising Committee
During the last meeting of EXPOSOLIDOS' Organising Committee Mr. Xavier Vallespí (SYSTEM-TECHNIK) was unanimously declared Vice President and Mr. Laurence Franks (SEAVAC SYSTEMS) president of the new Organising Committee. Mr. Vallespi will be the vice-president. According to the Committee, Mr. Franks has assumed this position once again due to the great work he realised during the last two editions as president.
